CAHO took the initiative of highlighting magnitude of patient safety related issues and the steps that healthcare providers and community must take urgently to reduce such incidents as a part of global campaign on first World Patient Safety Day.
Towards this mega event various member organizations were invited to organize Patient Safety Day in their respective organizations by engaging nearby hospitals in activities like awareness campaigns, road shows and seminars. More than 500 hospitals and individuals were part of this activity. E-Quiz competition and Flash Poster Competition were also conducted.
To spread the message of patient safety, You Tube channel "CAHOTalks was also launched during the Press Meet on 16th Sep.
