Master Trainers Program

A two days Master Trainers Program on Communication in Healthcare was conducted at Jhalawar Medical College, Rajasthan on 25th and 26th April 2017 by Dr Indu Arneja and Dr. Neha Chandra

under the banner of CAHO

The program was attended by 40 doctors, primarily Heads of the department and senior faculty of the medical college. The program covered the basic and advanced level communication skills essential in patient care.

The objective of the workshop was to sensitize the health-care practitioners to the importance of communication skills especially in the changing scenario of doctor - patient relationship. It is expected that these faculty members will be able to take this program forward by training more doctors and nurses in acquiring communication skills. Being the faculty of the medical college they will also be able to interweave  these skills as part and parcel of their regular teaching to undergraduate medical students.

The program methodology included role plays, mock exercises, discussion, presentations and self introspection questionnaires.

The program was a big hit with participants and received an extremely positive feedback.
