Institute of Neurosciences Kolkata (I-NK) Celebrated Patient Safety Conclave

CAHO Member Hospital, Institute of Neurosciences Kolkata (I-NK) has celebrated two days Patient Safety Conclave on 13th and 14th January 2023.

Patient safety is the avoidance of unintended or unexpected harm to people during the provision of health care. We support providers to minimize patient safety incidents and drive improvements in safety and quality. Patients should be treated in a safe environment and protected from avoidable harm.

Patient Safety is a healthcare discipline that emerged with the evolving complexity in healthcare systems and the resulting rise of patient harm in healthcare facilities. It aims to prevent and reduce risks, errors and harm that occur to patients during provision of health care.

What are the 7 Core Elements of Patient Safety Programme?

Safety and health program resources and tools are listed within each core element area below-

1)      Management Leadership.
