CAHO recognised AJ Hospital & Research Centre, Mangalore as its 17th Centre for Quality Promotion (CQP). The plaque for CQP recognition was handed over by Dr. Vijay Agrawal, President CAHO to Dr. Prashanth Marla & Dr. Amitha Marla, Director - AJ Hospital. Senior management officials of various hospitals of Mangalore region were invitees for the inaugural program.
Also, 2-day training program to Certify Professionals for Quality Implementation in Laboratories (CPQIL)- ISO 15189 : 2012 was held on 18th & 19th May.
Dr. Aparna Jairam, Dr. Narendranath V & Dr. Santwana Vernekar were the program faculty. Various group activities, interactive discussions were part of the program. Mock internal audit at Metropolis Lab, Mangalore was the highlight. The program was highly appreciated by the participants in all aspects.
