A 3-day basic training program to Certify Professionals for Quality Implementation in Hospitals & Healthcare Organizations was conducted by CAHO from 26th-28th May at Delhi Heart & Lung Institute, New Delhi.
Dr. Vijay Agarwal, President CAHO welcomed the delegates and faculty and in inaugural address highlighted the importance of increasing patient safety by adopting quality practices and every hospital must have at least a person trained in understanding accreditation requirements which will help in their continuous quality improvement journey .
Dr. CM Bhagat, Dr. Anna George and Ms. Freeda D'Souza were the faculty.
The program covered the accreditation standards for Entry Level Certification. Online pre & post test was taken to evaluate the effectiveness of program along with the audit of various departments for implementation of accreditation standards. The sessions were highly appreciated by the participants.
