CPHIC Basic Training Program Launch & CQP Inaugural at Sankara Nethralaya Chennai

On 3rd December 2017, Medical Research Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya, Nungambakkam, Chennai was certified by The Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organizations ( CAHO) as one of the Centres for Quality Promotion ( CQP) based on its Quality excellence in patient care and visible commitment to Quality promotion

A plaque was presented to Ms. Akila Ganesan, Director Administration and Ms. Hannah, HOD of the Quality Department by Dr. Lallu, Technical Advisor of CAHO & Quality Manager, CMC, Vellore and Dr. Narendranath, Joint Secretary of CAHO & Medical Superintendent of Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore. Dr. Lily felicitated the chief guests.

As the first event of CQP, Sankara Nethralaya and CAHO conducted a one Day Basic Certificate Training Program on Hospital Infection Control (appropriate for Entry Level NABH accreditation) for 45 Infection Control professionals from across the country.
