CAHO conducted its 5th Basic program to certify professionals for Hospital Infection Control at Ganga Medical Centre & Hospitals, Coimbatore.
Mrs. Rama Rajasekharan, Director- Ganga Hospital in her inaugural address highlighted that infection prevention and control practice is an essential feature of patient protection. By incorporating Infection control guidelines into routine daily clinical practice, patient safety can be enhanced and the risk of patients acquiring an infection during episodes of health care in hospitals can be minimised.
She appreciated CAHO for conducting training workshop to help healthcare workers in understanding and implementing protocols & processes to reduce HAI.
The training program was led by Dr. J Jayalakshmi and Dr. Shashank Devapur which was well attended by 55 delegates.
