CAHO in association with SEMI conducted its 2nd Basic National Disaster Life Support Training Program at Johal Multispeciality Hospital, Jalandhar on 19th Jan.
Dr. CM Bhagat, Secretary General- CAHO, Dr. Baljit Johal, MD and Dr. Abhay Gupta, CEO inaugurated the training program along with Dr. Syed Adil, Vice President- SEMI TN Chapter, Dr. Goma Bali Bajaj, President - SEMI Punjab Chapter and Dr. Anindya Das Gupta, Consultant Emergency Medicine - RTIICS Kolkata.
Dr. Johal in his address highlighted the need of such programs and appreciated the efforts of CAHO & SEMI in educating the public and getting them to take preparatory actions to better protect themselves and others in the face of natural hazards.
About 45 delegates from Jalandhar region attended the training program and was well received. The program ended with various mock drills and sharing experiences of past events.
