A Certificate Course in Antimicrobial Stewardship was launched by CAHO in association with Cephied as a knowledge partner. Dr. Dilip Mathai (Apollo Hospitals) and Dr. Victor D Rosenthal (INICC) was the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour for the event and in their addresses shared their views, experiences and highlighted the importance along with the need of Antimicrobial Stewardship program. The program has been developed under the leadership of Dr. Sankar Sengupta and has basic and advanced modules. The basic certified professionals will be eligible for the advance module which will be introduced in January 2022. The CAHO governing committee, program faculty and members from Cephied were also part of the launch event.
